Great things come in sets of 2!

This weekend I was hoping to relax, maybe do a little touring of the city, and resting for the next work week. So far, I've only done the 2nd part of that. Yesterday, I went to an event two of my student groups had. There was also a ton of stuff taking place on campus for Halloween. I intended to stay and maybe do the murder mystery thing/get my firtune read, but I got restless and left. I went to one of my favorite places (Borders) and did a little reading. SN: Don't sit in the kid sections of Borders in less you want to play with a 2 year girl that wants everything from our table, says "tank yu muchh" and then says water when she points at the tea that you are drinking... or have to tell two Asain boys (maybe 5 and 8) that they should probably stop bouncing a hand ball (that mind you hits the ceiling every time they bounce it) so high in hopes that you won't get knocked out.

Anyway, today the plan was to go to the Greek Food Festival to eat, listen to music, and eat some more. I picked up Alan at his apartment complex (which I recently moved from) and stopped by the office to say hi to Kelvin (the complex was having a Barbecue). Well, 98.9 was set up in the front, and I was trying to stay away from everything because i don't live there and didn't want to get taken to jail or soemthing. that was until I heard you can win tickets to see So you think you can dance. So, i scooted closer to the table and all you had to do was show then a dollar bill or licence with the number 98 on it. Alan showed him the first dollar for the 1st set of 2 tickets and then I showed him my licence for the 2nd set.

I was ecstatic. This is by far one of my favorite TV shows and I have never been in the same city as the tour. I cannot wait until 6:30. Well, I guess that about it.

Step Up

Director Gordon: See. That's my concern. He's not taking this seriously.
Tyler Gage: Look, I'm sorry. It's just... ya'll are talking about dancing like it's rocket science or something.

Pancha: Like my grandmother used to say, "There's no better dressing than meat on bones."
