Redemption

My reputation with 30 day challenges is currently tainted, and I am determined to redeem myself. Even if it is only for my piece of mind.

I started the 30 day challenge for EA Active yesterday. I have used Active about 10 times since I have had it, but I have been making my own workouts. I am really excited about this because I truly feel like I'm work out.
  • 5 min - I can feel the stretch
  • 20 min - I am hot, but it is not unbearable
  • 35 min- I may or may not be panting depending on the activity
  • 45 min - I need to sit, drink, and pass out.
The Day 1 challenge was only about 18 min, but I did some other exercises. I ended up working out for about 41 minutes. It was great and I had fun.

I am really excited about this product. Kels sent me a link about them upgrading something already. It has only been out since May 19, so they are moving quick.... I read about the upgrade... I'm super pumped. They will be adding aerobics among other things, but aerobics is something I really enjoyed on the fit. I just wished there was more variety to it.

Anyway, I am looking forward to the next 30 days.

Dirty Dancing:

Johnny: I'm gonna do my kind of dancin' with a great partner, who's not only a terrific dancer; somebody who's taught me that there are people willing to stand up for other people no matter what it costs them; somebody who's taught me about the kind of person I wanna be.

The weekend of entertainment

So this weekend was filled with a lot of nothing, in better words, it was great. I went to the movies tosee UP, which by the way was great. I didn't really know what to expect, but it was great. I also did a little reading and watched some movies. I finally got a chance to see Flicka, which I had been wanting to see forever. It was reallt good.

Sunday, I was really productive. I did laundry, cleaned my house, and went grocery shopping. I didn't get a chance to clean my car, but I will get to that. I've been thinking..,.. Being productive really sucks... at least until after you're done. I worked so hard on Sunday, and couldn't wait to be finished. But after I sat down with my homemade pizza, sweet tea, and ice cream for desert.... life was good in my clean apt.

Sunday night, I watched a Taylor Swift special, which was actually pretty good. I was also pretty hype about watching The MTV Movie Awards. It was pretty funny. Here are a few of my highlights.
  • The entire show was a weird dedication to jizz and other inappropriate TV talk
  • Eminem did a great, but spacstic performance
  • Bruno landed face down in Em's lap - He was pissed, and actually left the building
  • Miley had terets
  • Lil Wayne tried to boost his acting career
  • There was a WTF award
  • Keifer should be embarrassed by his performance
  • There was a ton of cursing
  • Cameron Diaz basically admitted to doing adult films
  • The Twilight Cast won every award they were nominated for.... woohoo - sucks for everyone else. It even beat out The Dark Night for best movie, which is sort of ridiculous, but whatever.
  • The New Moon trailer was flipping AMAZING.... I can't wait.
Overall, it entertained me for an hour. It is a pretty stupid and ridiculous show, but I do love movies and entertainment.

The Dark Knight:

The Joker: Do I really look like a guy with a plan? You know what I am? I'm a dog chasing cars. I wouldn't know what to do with one if I caught it. You know, I just... do things. The mob has plans, the cops have plans, Gordon's got plans. You know, they're schemers. Schemers trying to control their little worlds. I'm not a schemer. I try to show the schemers how pathetic their attempts to control things really are.
